Company History

Founded in 2002 by Managing Director, Mark Barber, Brightstar’s core strengths lay in its technical excellence and world class customer service. Our long-established strategic partnerships allow us to bring to market the very best products and solutions for our clients. Initially offering a suite of IT solutions we became a fully fledged Internet Service Provider in 2006. Our core focus is on resilient high speed circuits and our suite of Datacentre solutions. Our customer service is underpinned through proven processes and procedures and we regularly use client feedback to ensure our performance remains at its best.

Industry Memberships and Certifications

Member of the Communications and Internet Services Adjudication Scheme (CISAS), Internet Watch Foundation and LINX. We also have vendor certification with Ruckus Big Dog for Wi-Fi, Mitel Interoperability for telephony and 3CX Advanced Certified Engineers. Brightstar is also certified ISO9001 compliant, assuring our customers of a minimum high standard of consistent, good quality products and services.

25 years IT experience including 10 with Ernst and Young. Mark has considerable experience working with small to medium enterprises as well as large Corporates. Mark’s vision for Brightstar has enabled the Company to grow from strength to strength.
